our story
We were born in the clouds above the mountains. Just a few miles behind our little home and Konbit Haiti community center near Haiti’s central coastline, the mountains quickly climb into the clouds. It was adventuring the paths through those clouds we often discovered the absolute beauty and generosity of this island nation and her people. It was in those mountains in the clouds we discovered this long stewarded treasure, Haitian coffee. And it was there where we discovered what authentic Haitian coffee tasted like; locally roasted over an open charcoal fire, just unadulterated bold and never bitter pure bliss.
This bag was born, to give a little something back to this beautiful people and place. Each coffee grower is paid a fair wage via Direct Trade, and the proceeds go toward Konbit Haiti’s grassroots initiatives!
